Things to consider when purchasing a handmade rug

Because of the natural nature of a wool product, and the process of dyeing the batches of wool before the hand weaving process, you may find colours vary slightly from the images seen online or in brochures. We are happy to refund your money if you receive the rug and its not your cup of tea. Please view our refund policy at the bottom of our website for the low down.

When purchasing a handmade item it is normal that the size can vary up to 3% from the size ordered.

Shedding/Loose bits

This is an inevitable characteristic of a hand spun wool material. It happens at the beggining of your rugs life as some of the yarn fibre is still attached from the weaving process. Normal vacuuming will help to remove any loose fluff!

Also, depending on the weaving technique used, you may find the odd piece of wool or cotton sticking out. This can be trimmed off or pushed through.
